Here’s a few pictures to keep the grandparents occupied until Tuesday when we plan to move back to the U.S.

I would post more, but the computer is out of memory. I’ll have to clear it out before I can send out more.

If anyone (in the UK) is interested, we have some things we are looking to sell before we leave. None of these would be that expensive, except maybe the dehumidifier. Here is a basic list:
There may be more, but if any of that looks good, just let us know and we can talk about price.

As our time in Scotland winds down, we are making sure to get some good pictures with some key places. Here’s a recent collection of some:

With Greyfriar’s Bobby, the statue of the loyal dog who slept on his owner’s grave for years after the owner died.

(Just for fun: this is a picture from Sept. 2007 when Charlie was in Cheryl’s belly at Greyfriar’s Bobby.)

Edinburgh Castle in the background.

In Inverleith Park.

Superman emerges from his phone booth somewhere in the city…

Checking out some royal chickens in the gardens of Balmoral Castle.

At Balmoral Castle in northern Scotland.

“Squatting” on another man’s land.

By far the most exciting thing at the Castle.

Here’s some pictures of some recent happenings around Scotland.

Here is the family before Mom and Dad went out for Mom’s birthday to see Chicago (which featured the youngest Osmond brother!). The little guy would not sit still, so this is a bit blurry.

Showing off his new Kung-Fu Panda pajamas. Thanks to Gigi and Papa Doug.

Showing off his new Cars pajamas.

At the zoo.

Feeding the birds at the zoo.

Celebrating Cheryl’s b’day.

Trains + crackers + shorts = one happy kid

Getting to sit in a “truck” in the Botanic Gardens. Notice the fuzzy dice.

Here is Charlie cackling as he makes an aluminum can crackle.
This video was taken last week as Charlie was “playing” basketball with Dad. This is the game mentioned in the last post where he practices his ball-boy skills. He also shows off his Atlanta Braves Tomahawk Chop.

Today Charlie (and his dad) got a new toy: a basketball goal. It may be a bit out of season, but Charlie was encouraged by the prospect of Kentucky’s new coach and upcoming season and wanted to get a head start. Brandon has already taught him the game that Cherilyn was good at as a child. Brandon will shoot (and likely miss) the ball, and then encourage Charlie to throw it back, which he does with glee. It’s a win-win (win) situation. He also likes to dunk it himself, though.

A couple of weeks ago Brandon’s parent were in town. We went to Paris for an anniversary trip, then to St. Andrews with the whole family. Here are some pictures:

Cheryl at the Arc de Triomphe.

Brandon outside the Louvre.

Brandon is happy to be photographed with Hammurabi’s Code.

Venus de Milo and some guy.

Cheryl at Notre Dame.

Eiffel Tower

Brandon & Charlie at the 18th hole on the Old Course in St. Andrews.

Running amuck in a store in St. Andrews, under the watchful eye of his grandparents.

Here is the young man in some of his favorite clothes: his animal pajamas and Loch Ness Monster slippers. He likes to wear these pajamas so he can admire his own arms which exhibit a number of exciting animals. He is also keen to talk to anyone on the phone, although in this picture he’s talking to no one in particular:

Answer: God.
Yesterday Charlie learned the first question to “My First Catechism.” He can now do it upon request!
